Summary
To coincide with the premiere of the new Twilight movie, Eclipse, we hid a Volvo XC60 in a secret London location and challenged fans via Facebook to come and find it. The prize – two tickets to the UK premiere. The Facebook activation saw a marked increase in activity on the Volvo Facebook page, including a 20% increase in Facebook fans.
Clues to the car’s location were revealed on Facebook, and not long after the final clue was posted the lucky winner appeared to claim her prize by racing to the XC60 and shouting “I found Edward’s car”. Runners up who were pipped at the post received Twilight goodies.
